13 steps from consult to handed-over kitchen. Coastal expertise when you need it.
We come to your Ventura home, measure, listen, talk layout and finishes. For coastal-zone properties, we flag which materials need marine-grade upgrades. No sales pitch.
Cabinet spec, counter material, appliance list, electrical/plumbing scope, coastal upgrade list if applicable. Full fixed-price bid.
Sign contract, 10% deposit, scheduled demo date, milestone calendar.
City of Ventura plan submission. Coastal Commission CDP coordination if exterior changes. Long-lead materials ordered — cabinets, counters, appliances.
Dust-seal, protect floors/walls, remove old kitchen, haul debris. For coastal homes, we stage materials inside to limit salt exposure during the build.
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, vent hood ducting. All trades coordinated by our in-house lead. Inspections scheduled as work completes.
Drywall, prime, paint, flooring install. Coastal homes get extra-sealed underlayment to block salt-air humidity migration.
Cabinets arrive and go in. For coastal projects, cabinet boxes are fully sealed on interior seams before install — this is the step most contractors skip.
Template day, 10–14 days fabrication, install day. Ventura Keys and Pierpont projects sometimes get quartz instead of marble due to faster humidity acclimation.
Tile backsplash, appliance install, plumbing fixtures, final electrical. For coastal homes, every fixture swap uses 316-grade stainless.
City of Ventura plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and final inspections. Coastal Commission final sign-off if project is CDP-required.
You walk the kitchen, flag anything needing touch-up. We resolve every item before final payment.
Warranty docs, manuals, maintenance instructions. We explain which finishes need extra care in coastal air. You own the kitchen.
